Strategic Participation & Systems Change
I help children’s services strengthen the systems, leadership and organisational conditions that enable children and young people’s rights, knowledge and experiences to influence decisions. Rooted in the Lundy Model of Participation, my work looks beyond participation activity to how organisations create Space, support Voice, provide Audience and enable Influence, including how children and young people’s knowledge travels through systems, how it is understood and valued, and whether it leads to meaningful change.
Ways I can support you:
Children's Rights & Participation: Strategic Leadership Session:
A focused and challenging session for senior leaders to explore their responsibilities for children's rights and participation, what meaningful influence requires of leadership, and how they can strengthen oversight, assurance and inspection readiness.
Rights & Participation Strategy and System Design:
Support to design or refresh a rights-based participation strategy and the organisational systems that enable children and young people's knowledge to reach, inform and influence decisions.
Rights & Participation Implementation Partnership:
Available as a follow-on to any of our consultancy offers, providing ongoing strategic support to turn findings, priorities and commitments into lasting change. I work alongside leaders to strengthen implementation, accountability and the systems through which children and young people’s knowledge influences decisions.
